Successivamente a una direttiva della comunità europea risalente a una decina di anni fa il nostro paese, come gli altri stati comunitari, hanno imposto il divieto di pubblicizzare siti di gioco d'azzardo con lo scopo di limitare le ludopatie.
In realtà in Italia già nel 2012 con il decreto Balduzzi si erano gettate le basi per tenere il fenomeno del gioco sotto controllo. Tutela dei minori e chiarezza delle probabilità di vincita erano al centro di quel provvedimento che, a mio modo di vedere, era un buon punto di partenza.
Purtroppo logica e ragionevolezza devono fare i conti con le esigenze dello stato di incassare denaro.
È vero che il gioco non può essere pubblicizzato ma le notizie delle vincite importanti vengono diffuse liberamente sui media nazionali.
"Vinto a Canicattí un gratta e vinci da 500000 euro". Di solito viene anche fatto il nome del tipo di emessione così che rimanga ben impressa in chi vede, ascolta o legge la notizia.
Quindi in apparenza il cittadino non vede spot pubblicizzari sul gioco ma attraverso certe notizie riceve un messaggio molto più efficace e potente.
Qualcuno obbietterà su fatto che comunque i gratta e vinci riportano sul retro le probabilità di vincita.
Ma quanti le leggono e quanti le comprendono. E chi conosce il rapporto che c'è tra la raccolta e la formazione del montepremi. Come nel tempo lo stato ha aumentato la sua parte a discapito delle società di gioco, degli esercenti e soprattutto dei giocatori.

Naar aanleiding van een richtlijn van de Europese Gemeenschap van ongeveer tien jaar geleden heeft ons land, net als andere EU-landen, een verbod ingesteld op het adverteren van goksites met als doel de gokverslaving te beperken.
In werkelijkheid was in Italië al in 2012 met het Balduzzi-decreet de basis gelegd om het gamingfenomeen onder controle te houden. De bescherming van minderjarigen en de duidelijkheid van de winkansen stonden centraal in deze bepaling, die naar mijn mening een goed uitgangspunt was.
Helaas moeten logica en redelijkheid omgaan met de behoeften van de staat om geld in te zamelen.
Het is waar dat er geen reclame voor het spel mag worden gemaakt, maar nieuws over grote overwinningen wordt vrijelijk verspreid in de nationale media.
"Een kraskaart van 500.000 euro gewonnen in Canicattí" . Meestal wordt ook de naam van het soort onderwerp vermeld, zodat het duidelijk onder de indruk blijft van degenen die het nieuws zien, beluisteren of lezen.
Blijkbaar ziet de burger dus geen advertenties over het spel, maar krijgt hij via bepaald nieuws een veel effectievere en krachtigere boodschap.
Sommigen zullen bezwaar maken tegen het feit dat krasloten de kans om te winnen op de achterkant hebben.
