They are "cryptic" clues as much as they can be. Some are hand names, some are poker terms and some are poker players. It's a bit of a mixture.
If you aren't used to doing cryptic crosswords, it may well be quite difficult.

13 Across... I was feeling like a teeter-totter going back and forth between boat and bait... *-*
17 Across... Never thought of sandbagging cause slowplaying worked for me LOL
7 Down....... I knew it was pro something... one point thought of promotion... lost that thought and made it too hard... 8p
10 Down..... Never got close to glossary... but, Phil Ivey was pretty creative... HR being Sen. Harry Reid... and Phil Ivey being at a presentation by Reid in Nevada regarding gambling... 8'|
And 19 across... I can't count my answer as wrong because there was no clue and at that time "HaveNoClue" was absolutely correct and at this time with a clue it is still absolutely correct because I still "HaveNoClue" !!

I would have to say hand "C" for all 3. Although the other 2 have "potential" to be stronger hands they are nothing at this point in the hand.

As for number 4... I am still having a heck of a time with outs... I almost said 16 because you only have 2 cards left to be dealt, but here is what I did to come up with 32...
You are dealt 10/J Hearts and the flop is 8 Hearts, 9 Clubs, A Hearts.
So, I figured you have the 8,9,10,J toward a straight... so you have 4 7's and 4 Q's in the deck for 8 outs. Then you have the 8,10, J, A of hearts, toward a flush, leaving 9 other hearts in the deck for 9 outs. Then you could get a pair of any of the cards and there are 3 more of each of those for 15 outs, which makes 8+9+15=32 outs. And as I said I almost said 16 because you only have 2 cards left to go.
But, as I was typing that I see that you could also get a K and Q for a straight too... for 8 more outs making 40 outs and cut in half because of only 2 cards left that would be 20 outs! And now I am laughing too hard to go on! LOL LOL LOL....
Please tell me how I really should have figured this out exactly. You can see I need a lot of help here! LOL LOL LOL

Wat betreft nummer 4... ik heb het nog steeds erg naar mijn zin met outs... Ik zei bijna 16 omdat je nog maar 2 kaarten moet delen, maar dit is wat ik deed om op 32 te komen...
Je krijgt 10/J Hearts gedeeld en de flop is 8 Hearts, 9 Clubs, A Hearts.
Dus ik dacht dat je de 8,9,10,J hebt richting een straat... dus je hebt 4 7's en 4 Q's in het kaartspel voor 8 outs. Dan heb je de harten 8,10, J, A, richting een flush, waardoor er nog 9 andere harten in het kaartspel overblijven voor 9 outs. Dan kun je van elk van de kaarten een paar krijgen en er zijn er nog 3 van elk voor 15 outs, wat 8+9+15=32 outs oplevert. En zoals ik al zei, ik zei bijna 16 omdat je nog maar 2 kaarten te gaan hebt.
Maar terwijl ik dat aan het typen was, zag ik dat je ook een K en Q voor een straight kunt krijgen... voor nog eens 8 outs, dus 40 outs en een cut in tweeën omdat er nog maar 2 kaarten over zijn, zou dat 20 outs zijn! En nu lach ik te hard om door te gaan! LOL LOL LOL....
Vertel me alsjeblieft hoe ik dit precies had moeten bedenken. Je ziet dat ik hier veel hulp nodig heb! lol LOL LOL

This is how I worked it out. You have a flush and a straight draw. You are right about the 7s and the Qs which = 8 for the straight. For the flush there are 9 more cards however you have already included 7h and Qh for the straight so that knocks it down to 7. 8+7 = 15.
You can't count the K because that would be reliant upon you getting the Q. You can't count your 8s/9s/10s/Js for pairs because there is an ace on the board and if someone is holding an ace, you are beaten. If you wanted to include your 10s and Js though, that would add another 6 cards making 21.

Dit is hoe ik het heb uitgewerkt. Je hebt een flush en een straightdraw. Je hebt gelijk wat betreft de 7's en de Q's, die = 8 voor het rechte stuk. Voor de flush zijn er nog 9 kaarten, maar je hebt al 7h en Qh voor de straight toegevoegd, dus dat brengt het terug naar 7. 8+7 = 15.
Je kunt de K niet tellen, omdat dat afhankelijk is van het behalen van de Q. Je kunt je 8s/9s/10s/Js niet tellen voor paren, omdat er een aas op het bord ligt en als iemand een aas heeft, jij zijn geslagen. Als je echter je 10-en en J-en zou willen toevoegen, zou dat nog eens 6 kaarten opleveren, wat 21 oplevert.
