The Detroit Lions clinched their fourth consecutive win and a playoff berth as they defeated the Chicago Bears 20-14 on Sunday. Joique Bell scored the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter, while Ndamukong Suh had two sacks. Very impresive Dallas Cowboys smashed Indianapolis Colts and win the Nfc east title.They are in the playoffs for the first time since 2009 season.

The Cincinnati Bengals secured their playoff spot thanks to a 37-28 win over AFC West winners Denver Broncos on Monday.  Dre Kirkpatrick returned Peyton Manning's third interception for a touchdown in the closing minutes to clinch it for the Bengals. The Bengals clinched a playoff berth for the fourth consecutive season, a new franchise record.

Seahawks are clear favourites against Carolina Panthers with their defence back in incredible form but I expect the other game between New England and Baltimore to be a more close one.

The Broncos was just so bad. They always called stupi. plays. Manning just keep trying long plays, and keep doing it and doing it. Doesnt work, but still trying... If he had a shorter one, Thomas couldnt possess the ball. I was expected way much more.  :-&

The Indianapolis Colts defied the odds and defeated the Denver Broncos 24-13 to advance to the Conference Championships. Andrew Luck threw two touchdown passes while Peyton Manning had one of his worst playoff performances ever. The Green Bay Packers also advance after defeating the Dallas Cowboys.

Indianapolis Colts 24 - 13 Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos  are always top favourites coming to the playoffs and every season they fail to respond to the big expectations. So their loss against Indianapolis Colts was not a big surprise for me. In the other game Dallas Cowboys missed a great opportunity to reach the conference final in the very  tight game against Packers. Questionable referees decision in the end and a little luck were  the reasons for the Cowboys loss.

The Conference finals today! The stake is place to the Superbow and I expect both games to be very exciting. I hope for Packers and Patriots wins but Seahawks are the great favourites against Green Bay and with the healthy issues of Aaron Rodgers, Seattle look unstoppable to play at their second consecutive Superbow.

Wow.  Packers are +8 and Colts are only +6.5?  I can't believe the Packers are that big of underdogs.  If I had a bookie I would take the Packers and the points today.

Let's hope the odds makers are wrong!

The New England Patriots won the AFC Championship in style, storming past the Indianapolis Colts 45-7 on Sunday.  Tom Brady threw for three touchdowns and LeGarrette Blount ran in three more as the Patriots won their eighth AFC championship. Brady completed 23 of 35 passes for 226 yards. Blount ran 30 times for 148 yards.

The Patriots will face the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, on Feb. 1. The Seahawks defeated the Packers to become the first defending champion to make the Super Bowl in 10 years.

In  the end Packers  trying to play too safe and  with obvious fear. That's not the way to win the Conference final  against the defending champions. This game was not won by Seattle but loosed from Green Bay.

There is one more thing. Big players always make the difference. Wilson had his worst game ever until the last 3 minutes, but than he won the game. Or Lynch, what a TD (almost 2). They made the different. Simple as that.

And I'm not agree with you. When Packers defence(which on paper is the weaker part of the team) stops the best players in NFL for the last two seasons (Lynch and Wilson) trough all the game you have  to do better in offence.Green bay loosed the game in the first half when they were 4 or 5 times in the red zone and scored only 1 touchdown. In one of this they were at the one yard line and they kicked a field goal. And about luck Packers have it enough in the first and even the second half. 5min. before the end they were 19-7 ahead and  all they needed is  a first down or two,and what they do?Trying to run the ball every time and looking at the clock.Seattle's defence were aware of that and stopped them every time of course. And that for me is to play on safe!!! But that's not the way to win over the defending champions on their field in Conf. final game. And that is the deference between good and great team(coach).So you can say that in the final 5 min. Green Bay loosed the game for the second time. This was almost impossible game to loose and Packers succeeded at least twice.

Can wait for the game to start! I really think Seattle Seahawks are favourites to win it for  second straight year but I will support Patriots in this one.

The Seahawks finally ran out of luck!!!  Not particularly a fan of the Patriots, but glad Seattle lost.

I really liked the final match. I was rooting for Seattle's sorry that they did not win. Then next year ... :)

Super Bowl this year was ten times better then 2014. one, game vise. This one was much more tence, and that final few mins - epic. Hollywood ending =)

What can I say? Another crazy game after conference final between Seattle and Green Bay. Thriller till the last seconds. The fans of both teams have to hate this game :) Enormous suspense and finally the game was decided from a brilliant play by the rookie  Malcolm Butler! For shore one of the greatest Superbolw's ever. New England are the champions for the 4th time in 14 years but the last win for them was in 2005 and they"ve done it again after 10 years! Amazing achievement and deservedly so! Their consistency over the years finally was rewarded after two lost close finals  against the Giants. Seattle had every right to be disappointed, although you can expect to win every game in the last seconds. I think they are young and talented team and will be even better in the next years.
