For those that don't know, the 1989 film sees Marty travel into the future to 2015 where the Chicago Cubs had won the World Series against Miami. Although, Miami is out, fingers crossed for Chicago! This morning, while I was writing the MLB results update, I was thinking: "Wonder when is Lips going to post something about the Cubs... Or maybe Froggy?" My questions are now answered :)
P.S.: I do hope the Cubs will win the World Series this time.

I just wonder if any of the crew members or screenwriters of Back to the Future had placed a bet on that back then?

Cubs won't make it past NLCS and they certainly would not outplay the bluejays right now when the cards shelled arietta for four runs with half their roster on the DL. Maybe they will win in 3015.
