Great victory for Tottenham and the first defeat for Guardiola in England. Moreover, Tottenham were the first team that managed to keep Man City scoreless this season, the performance of their two Belgian centre backs was absolutely outstanding.
Elsewhere, Man United were held to a draw at home by Stoke while Arsenal barely squeezed past Burnley thanks to a stoppage time goal from Koscielny.

You're right Johnny it was absolutely fabulous performance by Spurs but I think the main reason was Pochetino's tactics in which 4 or 5 Spurs players pressed up so high Man City, in fact almost in their penalty box and that don't give City any time and space for combinations and movement of the ball which is their main strength.
You take that from them and they are bellow average side, not that many teams would have the balls or the pace playing City the way Spurs did it.

Son is playing out of his mind at the moment and I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps playing with him forward until Harry Kane is back. Jansen didn't prove that he striker for top Premier League side. He might need time to adjust to English style of football.
Zoon is op dit moment gek aan het spelen en het zou mij niet verbazen als hij met hem vooruit blijft spelen totdat Harry Kane terug is. Jansen heeft niet bewezen dat hij een aanvaller is voor de top van de Premier League. Hij heeft misschien tijd nodig om zich aan te passen aan de Engelse voetbalstijl.

Son is really taking advantage of his chance now, if he keeps playing like this I wouldn't be surprised to see Kane on the bench for a while.

Or maybe there's room for both of them, I don't think they are an identical players, Kane is a typical central forward while Son has the more natural game of a midfielder despite that has been used up front.
Pouchetino could play them both at the same time I guess, I don't like Lamela being in the starting 11 for example.
Son is really at the top at his game but he will be even more effective if he passes instead of shooting in certain situations, he proved to be a great passer too against City. No need to be so selfish.
Of misschien is er ruimte voor beiden. Ik denk niet dat het identieke spelers zijn. Kane is een typische centrale aanvaller, terwijl Son het meer natuurlijke spel van een middenvelder heeft, ondanks dat dat voorin is gebruikt.
Pouchetino zou ze allebei tegelijk kunnen spelen, denk ik, ik vind het bijvoorbeeld niet leuk dat Lamela in de basis elf staat.
Son is echt aan de top in zijn spel, maar hij zal nog effectiever zijn als hij in bepaalde situaties passt in plaats van schieten. Ook tegen City bleek hij een geweldige passer te zijn. Je hoeft niet zo egoïstisch te zijn.

Chelsea eased past Leicester, while Arsenal made it difficult for themselves but eventually got all three points against Swansea. It was obvious that Mourinho came for a point in Liverpool and he succeed to spoil the host team style. Beside those two Liverpool situations second half in which De Hea was perfect there's nothing to mention really and in fact it was quite boring game which often happens after so huge expectations.

Het was duidelijk dat Mourinho voor een punt kwam in Liverpool en hij slaagde erin de stijl van het gastteam te bederven. Afgezien van de twee Liverpool-situaties in de tweede helft waarin De Hea perfect was, valt er eigenlijk niets te melden en in feite was het een behoorlijk saaie wedstrijd, wat vaak gebeurt na zulke hoge verwachtingen.

Jose Mourinho said prematch that he will look into ways to stop Liverpool attacks, and that he would be happy with a draw. He stopped best attacking team in Premier League. On the other hand, game was boring as hell so I do not approve this approach :)
Jose Mourinho zei voorafgaand aan de wedstrijd dat hij zal zoeken naar manieren om de aanvallen van Liverpool te stoppen, en dat hij blij zou zijn met een gelijkspel. Hij stopte het beste aanvallende team in de Premier League. Aan de andere kant was het spel ontzettend saai, dus ik keur deze aanpak niet goed :)

I think United was the dominant team first half so we can't say they just parked the bus!
Yes they were too defensive in second but we can't blame them too much when Liverpool suppose to be in great shape, Liverpool should find a ways themselves to open that difference and I think they just weren’t on their usual level.

What a performance by Chelsea. As Blues fan I can't recall when was the last time we look this dominate on the pitch as it was scenario yesterday. Conte's 3-4-3 tactic looks more then promising. And midfield is working like a charm.
Wat een prestatie van Chelsea. Als Bluesfan kan ik me niet herinneren wanneer we voor het laatst zo domineerden op het veld, zoals gisteren het geval was. De 3-4-3-tactiek van Conte ziet er meer dan veelbelovend uit. En het middenveld draait als een tierelier.
What a ridiculous performance by MU, everything is wrong in this club when you start from up top - the American owners who don't care too much, trough Ed Woodward who don't have any idea how to run club like this on and off the field, and last but not least the managers who suppose to be a "great names" but have been past the pick of their careers long ago.
This ridiculously expensive side looked amazingly ridiculous on the field and Mourinho looks a manager who's not eager for success any more (even last season in Chelsea), I would understand that performance if this was just one of this days and players at least have shown some nerve but there's nothing, they are just bunch of soulless hirelings who cares only for their pay checks.
That's why I like players like Rooney, he probably would be sent off of if he was on the field in this game, just because he cares!
I'm sick been right about this club every time I criticized them over the years, they wanted playing safe appointing famous managers like Van Gaal and Mourinho instead of risking and giving a chance of the young ones (Giggs is a great example) but there's nothing certain in life and would be tougher even from a guy from the street to manage this club poorly.
Wat een belachelijke prestatie van MU, alles is mis in deze club als je van bovenaf begint - de Amerikaanse eigenaren die er niet zoveel om geven, via Ed Woodward die geen idee hebben hoe ze zo'n club moeten runnen, af en toe het veld, en last but not least de managers die veronderstellen een "grote naam" te zijn, maar al lang geleden de keuze van hun carrière voorbij zijn.
Deze belachelijk dure ploeg zag er ongelooflijk belachelijk uit op het veld en Mourinho ziet eruit als een manager die niet meer uit is op succes (zelfs vorig seizoen bij Chelsea). Ik zou die prestatie begrijpen als dit maar één van deze dagen was en de spelers tenminste wat hebben laten zien lef, maar er is niets, het zijn gewoon een stel zielloze huurlingen die alleen om hun looncheques geven.
Daarom hou ik van spelers als Rooney; hij zou waarschijnlijk van het veld worden gestuurd als hij in dit spel op het veld stond, gewoon omdat het hem iets kan schelen!
Ik heb er spijt van dat ik elke keer dat ik ze bekritiseerde door de jaren heen gelijk had over deze club. Ze wilden op veilig spelen door beroemde managers als Van Gaal en Mourinho aan te stellen in plaats van de jongeren te riskeren en een kans te geven (Giggs is een geweldig voorbeeld), maar er is niets zeker in het leven en het zou zelfs voor een man van de straat moeilijker zijn om deze club slecht te leiden.

Yes it seems like it would be a very tough season for Swansea, just one win in ten says it all really but any of the three at the bottom looks to be deservedly there and it's a rare thing for the premier league but I think the most threatened team emerged clearly after these 10 weeks.

Arsenal were denied victory in the North London derby but it was a just result considering the number of chances for both sides. Liverpool hammered Watford to move past Chelsea at the top of the table, Swansea continue to sink, while Leicester are now just two points above the relegation zone.

I've watched the bigger part of the first half of the Liverpool game yesterday when they played some inspired football so they really deserved the first place in the table, really think it could be their year in the PL.
Arsenal -Spurs game desirvedly went to a draw and the funny fact about Tottenham is that they are 5th despite not loosing a game so far in the season.
United won for a change but I don't think there was something impressive about it, Swansea are just too poor of a team at the moment.
Ik heb gisteren het grootste deel van de eerste helft van de wedstrijd tegen Liverpool gezien, toen ze geïnspireerd voetbal speelden, dus ze verdienden echt de eerste plaats in de ranglijst. Ik denk echt dat dit hun jaar in de PL zou kunnen worden.
Het duel tussen Arsenal en Spurs eindigde terecht in een gelijkspel en het grappige feit van Tottenham is dat ze vijfde staan, ondanks dat ze tot dusver in het seizoen nog geen wedstrijd hebben verloren.
United won voor de verandering, maar ik denk niet dat er iets indrukwekkends aan was, Swansea is momenteel gewoon een te arm team.

Obviously not a good streak for them but they are still just 5 points from top and the draw against Arsenal could be considered as a positive result for them, certainly better for them than it is for the Gunners I think, anyway I don't think Spurs would be a title contender this season, as it looks place in top 4 would be an achievement that would be harder than ever ...not only for Spurs though.

Het is duidelijk geen goede reeks voor hen, maar ze staan nog steeds slechts vijf punten verwijderd van de top en het gelijkspel tegen Arsenal kan als een positief resultaat voor hen worden beschouwd, zeker beter voor hen dan voor de Gunners denk ik, in ieder geval denk ik niet De Spurs zouden dit seizoen een titelkandidaat zijn, aangezien het erop lijkt dat een plaats in de top 4 een prestatie zou zijn die moeilijker dan ooit zou zijn...maar niet alleen voor de Spurs.
