United's biggest problem is Rooney on that position. Simply doesn't work out, he can't contribute key passes to Ibrahimovic. Mata should be starting, and Pogba playing less deep.
I guess Mourinho will figure it out at some point and maybe make some further changes to the squad in January. Until then they just have to get enough points to stay in the battle for the title.
Yeah it's not Rooney's preferred position but it's naive thing to say that United loosing only because of that but this is definitely a issue although the whole world knows where Rooney should play (behind back of the central forward :-X)
Rashford who was United most impressive player last season along with Lingaard, both have been left at the bench in the beginning of the season.
And I don't know why but every new player who came at the club in great shape soon starting playing worst (have to be something in the club) Ibrahimovic is the latest example for that.
I really doubt they will be in the title race till January Johnny, don't expect City to loose many points this season and United just don't playing good enough so...will be glad if I'm wrong but...

Ja, het is niet de voorkeurspositie van Rooney, maar het is naïef om te zeggen dat United alleen daardoor verliest, maar dit is zeker een probleem, hoewel de hele wereld weet waar Rooney zou moeten spelen (achter de rug van de centrale aanvaller :-X)

Ik betwijfel echt of ze tot januari in de titelrace zullen zitten, Johnny. Verwacht niet dat City dit seizoen veel punten zal verliezen en United speelt gewoon niet goed genoeg, dus... ik zal blij zijn als ik ongelijk heb, maar...
