When the expectations are too high pre-game we usually get 0-0 in the end. :)
It wasn't a boring game in fairness but the fans expected a lot more from Liverpool and Man City, for sure.
Probably nobody expected Chelsea to be a mach for City & Liverpool this season and they've done great so far but for me Arsenal are the real surprise package so far, especially after the tough start of the season, they doing immensely well every since and shown United how suppose to be done after a decades under an iconic managers.
For me those two clubs have a lot of similarities because of that but while United still searching (not sure exactly what to be honest) for a 6th straight season, Arsenal showing class so far and I must admit I didn't believed they could be at the top of their game in the very first season in Wenger's absence.
I have to admit that I wasn't right about Emery's abilities..although you still have to question Arsenal and their manager in the biggest games despite their entertaining style I think.

Als de verwachtingen vooraf aan de wedstrijd te hoog zijn, krijgen we uiteindelijk meestal 0-0. :)
Eerlijk gezegd was het geen saaie wedstrijd, maar de fans hadden zeker veel meer verwacht van Liverpool en Man City.
Waarschijnlijk had niemand verwacht dat Chelsea dit seizoen een topper zou zijn voor City en Liverpool en ze hebben het tot nu toe geweldig gedaan, maar voor mij is Arsenal het echte verrassingspakket tot nu toe, vooral na de moeilijke start van het seizoen, ze doen het sindsdien enorm goed. liet United zien hoe het zou moeten gebeuren na tientallen jaren onder iconische managers.
Voor mij hebben die twee clubs daardoor veel overeenkomsten, maar hoewel United nog steeds op zoek is (niet precies wat om eerlijk te zijn) naar een zesde seizoen op rij, toont Arsenal tot nu toe klasse en ik moet toegeven dat ik niet geloofde dat ze dat zouden kunnen zijn. aan de top van hun spel in het allereerste seizoen bij afwezigheid van Wenger.

Not delighted yet, so far we haven't beaten any of the big teams. I like the consistency and the good results but we have to be realistic, the team is not at such a high level yet.

Yeah, Ok Johnny, you're right about the results against the top teams, although I think they've had quite tough schedule in the opening two games against City and Chelsea with a new manager ahead.
Despite that I think they were quite good v Chelsea and really been unlucky to loose that one.
My point is that I didn't expected they to be even that good so early in the season or through the whole of it and I think top 4 place (why not even something more) would be a good result for Arsenal this season in my opinion.
Ja, oké Johnny, je hebt gelijk wat betreft de resultaten tegen de topteams, hoewel ik denk dat ze een behoorlijk zwaar schema hebben gehad in de eerste twee wedstrijden tegen City en Chelsea, met een nieuwe manager voorop.
Desondanks denk ik dat ze best goed waren tegen Chelsea en dat ze echt de pech hadden om die te verliezen.
Mijn punt is dat ik niet had verwacht dat ze zo vroeg in het seizoen of gedurende het hele seizoen zelfs maar zo goed zouden zijn en ik denk dat een plaats in de top 4 (waarom niet eens iets meer) een goed resultaat zou zijn voor Arsenal dit seizoen in mijn mening.

Chelsea suffered their first defeat of the season and it was quite a heavy one in the London derby against Tottenham. Man City and Liverpool secured comfortable away wins, while Man United got held to a goalless draw at Old Trafford by Crystal Palace.

Chelsea leed hun eerste nederlaag van het seizoen en het was een behoorlijk zware nederlaag in de Londense derby tegen Tottenham. Man City en Liverpool behaalden comfortabele uitoverwinningen, terwijl Man United op Old Trafford op een doelpuntloos gelijkspel werd gehouden door Crystal Palace.

Ik heb alleen de wedstrijd tegen de Spurs gedeeltelijk gezien... het resultaat had slecht en waarschijnlijk zelfs nog slechter kunnen zijn voor Chelsea.

I don't think Mourinho will last at Man United until the end of the season, he will be sacked if things keep going like this.
Ik denk niet dat Mourinho het tot het einde van het seizoen bij Man United volhoudt, hij zal worden ontslagen als de zaken zo blijven doorgaan.
