Iceland were one of the best teams in this qualifications. They secured place in France last month. They conceded only 5 goals in this qualifications, and that is great achievement.
IJsland was een van de beste teams in deze kwalificaties. Ze verzekerden zich vorige maand van een plaats in Frankrijk. Ze kregen in deze kwalificatie slechts vijf doelpunten tegen, en dat is een geweldige prestatie.

Nog steeds terwijl niemand (of in ieder geval heel weinig mensen) dat had verwacht, kan het als een verrassing worden gecategoriseerd. Te weinig mensen volgen de uitslagen van de jeugdformaties zo nauwgezet ;)

Really great scorer even at that age, it's pity that he wont be able to participate at the European championship which probably would been his last big event.

The Netherlands is a good team and will remain ,one of the teams titrated but is in a period of reconstruction and i m convinced that in the next campaign will look different, in a good way.
Nederland is een goed team en zal dat blijven, een van de teams die is getitreerd, maar bevindt zich in een periode van wederopbouw en ik ben ervan overtuigd dat het er de volgende campagne op een goede manier anders uit zal zien.

Reconstruction or not it's still a big failure for them. For sure they have good enough squad to be there so that didn't have to be an excuse especially for team with such an ambitions.

Wederopbouw of niet, het blijft een grote mislukking voor hen. Ze hebben zeker een goed genoeg team om daar te zijn, dus dat hoefde geen excuus te zijn, vooral niet voor een team met zulke ambities.

It was just perfect tactical game by Venger. Arsenal looked the more dangerous side trough whole game although the play was in their half for the bigger part, but they could be so effectively killing on counters and that's how they win in fact.

Speaking of surprises Liverpool drew 1-1 at the moment with Rubin at home, just 5 minutes before the end, could be another one.

It's logical that they do play better, it will be hard for them to play worst than so far in the season, almost impossible, but still the result is missing.
Ik schrijf in het Europa League-onderwerp over die wedstrijd. Ik heb deze wedstrijd de hele tijd gezien en ik kan zeggen dat Liverpool veel beter speelt met de Duitse heer :)
