Jack's T-Rex is a new 3D online video slot from Sheriff Gaming. It is a five-reel, twenty pay-line game with an excellent betting range of 0.01 up to 100, and 5 coins per line. The maximum bet is 100 coins and it pays out some pretty prizes, although this is not a progressive prize slot game.

Theme and Design of the Game

The theme of the game is lovely; about 10 year old goofy-looking Jack, and his even goofier looking T-Rex. Presumably, blunt teeth and all, this Tyrannosaurus Rex has survived the melt-down that did away with the rest of his species and has been befriended by Jack. The government wants it, and Jack has to keep it safe. This slot game starts with a vividly audio visual intro which tells us all that we need to know about the story, intriguing us even more to play the game.

Symbols

Symbols obviously feature Jack (who is permanently animated – who knows, he might be ADD? He is always jumping around the screen), and his T-Rex; No Trespassing signs, a backpack which contains meat for the T-Rex, FBI agent (could be CIA?), an un-hatched T-Rex egg in a crate, toy aeroplane, army truck, and an army or secret military base. Land on the right icons and watch the reels expand to see Jack feeding the T-Rex meat. This takes place because T-Rex is the wild, and as this is an expanding wild, he does replace the regular symbols, but only on the third reel. The FBI Agent is the scatter symbol, and the un-hatched T-Rex egg triggers the “Click Me” bonus game.

Jackpots and Bonus Games

Jack’s T-Rex offers an excellent top prize jackpot of $17 500. This can be collected when taking a maximum bet. The Click Me bonus takes place within the base game. Basically when you see the un-hatched T-Rex egg anywhere on the reels, the aim of the game is to click on other symbols to reveal what is hidden beneath. Drop either 3, 4 or 5 FBI agents onto the reels, and activate free-spins of 3, 6 or 9. Free spins may be re-triggered.

The free spins bonus feature is another game to gun for, where the screen fills with crated dinosaurs - these drop down line-by-line and feature their own pay table.

Overall Impression

We were certainly impressed by Jack’s T-Rex. We also spent a very happy half hour playing the game for free and getting to know what it has on offer. There is a very worthwhile top prize available, but not only that; there are tons of chances to win no matter the size of the wager.
