Well my opinion and response on this is that he enjoys doing what he does and I enjoy doing what I do. We compromise with setting aside time to spend with each other. I did have some thoughts about how things would be different depending on the particular man in the scenarios.  But, I settled on my current relationship.  And a funny thing happened right after I posted, while I was playing the drake tourney.  He actually told me to quit what I was doing and 'talk' to him!  He has never done that before, and I kept on playing.  He was wasted and fell asleep a few minutes later so for me it was a no-brainer.

In my case, I would reverse this ultimatum to “my gambling for your WOW (World of War) gaming” and problem is solved. I know he never stop gaming; just can change his favorite game. BUT, IF this trick does not work (max chance is 0.01%), then would promise him to quit my gambling, and then reduce playing time on freerolls and will keep my gambling private
