Hi,
After switching my internet service provider to Comcast Xfinity I am unable to communicate to any RTG servers. I am able to open the casino shell but not the games. Can anybody help me? Show me how to fix it? Thanks.

Hi slotster, did you install some antivirus protection suite in the meantime? Or if you already have one, did you entered some parameters that somehow influenced your firewall to disable RTG client for conecting to that network.
Hallo slotster, heb je in de tussentijd een antivirusprogramma geïnstalleerd? Of als u er al een heeft, heeft u dan een aantal parameters ingevoerd die op de een of andere manier uw firewall hebben beïnvloed om de RTG-client uit te schakelen voor verbinding met dat netwerk?

Thanks for replying drthelon. I installed Norton Antivirus from Comcast, but I uninstalled it and it still did not work. When I connect through another ISP connection I do not have any problems. It seems to be with the comcast connection only. I would like to know if anybody else is having the same issue and how they fixed it. Thanks.
Bedankt voor het antwoorden, drthelon. Ik heb Norton Antivirus van Comcast geïnstalleerd, maar ik heb het verwijderd en het werkte nog steeds niet. Als ik verbinding maak via een andere ISP-verbinding, heb ik geen problemen. Het lijkt alleen bij de comcast-verbinding te zijn. Ik zou graag willen weten of iemand anders hetzelfde probleem heeft en hoe zij dit hebben opgelost. Bedankt.

Comcast comes with a built in firewall, check the settings that they are not set too high. Also check your internet settings by going to Internet Options under Properties and under Privacy Settings to make sure it is not set to high. There are several tabs there including the Advanced settings. It might be that the problem is there.
Comcast wordt geleverd met een ingebouwde firewall, controleer de instellingen of deze niet te hoog staan. Controleer ook uw internetinstellingen door naar Internetopties onder Eigenschappen en onder Privacyinstellingen te gaan om er zeker van te zijn dat deze niet te hoog staan. Er zijn verschillende tabbladen, waaronder de geavanceerde instellingen. Het kan zijn dat het probleem daar zit.

You have some connection restriction slotster which is due to firewall blocking your application somewhere. If you are not very familiar with firewalls and how to set them up, might be a good idea to call your provider support, im pretty sure they can guide you and solve it for you.
Je hebt een verbindingsbeperking die te wijten is aan een firewall die je applicatie ergens blokkeert. Als u niet zo bekend bent met firewalls en hoe u deze moet instellen, is het misschien een goed idee om de ondersteuning van uw provider te bellen. Ik ben er vrij zeker van dat zij u kunnen begeleiden en het probleem voor u kunnen oplossen.
