This is really a continuation of the original complaint I had initiated against this casino, about denying my verification.
Their issue was about my photo ID. My photo ID is actually a combination of two official documents. The front side is my Citizen of the Cherokee Nation ID, and shows my legal name. The reverse side shows our Certified Degree of Indian Blood, usually abbreviated as CDIB. The CDIB is issued at birth by the US federal government, and being issued at birth shows my maiden name. Our CDIB is not usually updated when we have a name change due to marriage.
The casino accused me of fraud, because of the different last names on the front and back of my ID. I explained the reason why it was like that, but they literally scoffed at the notion, declaring that, "there is no document in the whole world where the full name on the front side doesn't match with the full name on the back side for any reason." I decided to retract my original complaint, though, because I felt their complaint was not an unreasonable one. Without knowing more about what the two sides are actually about, I would think it is certainly unusual for their to be an inconsistency with the last name.
So...last Thursday I travelled to our main government office with a name change request form to change my last name on the CDIB, as well as update my address on the front side. I left with a brand new ID, and it shows my married name now on the back. After submitting new pictures, their initial reply was the exact same, verbatim, word for word copy of their initial denial! This denial claims that the photo is blurry and they ask for a new selfie. It is a pre-canned response, calling into question if they even look at the attached files. The "selfie" pic is at 3000x4000 pixel resolution...there is zero issue with legibility.
I would like to point out, that no other casino has had any issue with my ID. This is the only one that took issue with my maiden name being on the reverse side. That ID was and still is a 100% authentic and official government issued ID. I still went through the trouble to update my ID, and have presented this new ID that removes their "issue" with my ID.
I apologized when I retracted my previous complaint, as I felt their complaint wasn't entirely unreasonable, despite not being valid. On the other hand, they have not apologized for accusing me of attempting fraud. They do not act in good faith in their verification process.

Dit is eigenlijk een vervolg op de oorspronkelijke klacht die ik tegen dit casino had ingediend, over het weigeren van mijn verificatie.
Hun probleem ging over mijn identiteitsbewijs met foto. Mijn identiteitsbewijs met foto is eigenlijk een combinatie van twee officiële documenten. De voorkant is mijn identiteitsbewijs als burger van de Cherokee Nation, waarop mijn officiële naam staat. De achterkant toont mijn Certified Degree of Indian Blood, meestal afgekort als CDIB. De CDIB wordt bij de geboorte afgegeven door de Amerikaanse federale overheid en vermeldt mijn meisjesnaam. Onze CDIB wordt meestal niet bijgewerkt wanneer we onze naam wijzigen vanwege een huwelijk.
Het casino beschuldigde me van fraude vanwege de verschillende achternamen op de voor- en achterkant van mijn identiteitsbewijs. Ik legde uit waarom dat zo was, maar ze lachten het idee letterlijk weg en verklaarden: "Er bestaat geen document ter wereld waar de volledige naam op de voorkant om welke reden dan ook niet overeenkomt met de volledige naam op de achterkant." Ik besloot mijn oorspronkelijke klacht echter in te trekken, omdat ik vond dat hun klacht niet onredelijk was. Zonder meer te weten over de precieze inhoud van de twee kanten, zou ik het zeker ongebruikelijk vinden als er een verschil in achternaam zou zijn.
Afgelopen donderdag ben ik naar het hoofdkantoor van de overheid gegaan met een formulier voor naamswijziging om mijn achternaam op de CDIB (Central Disability Insurance Board) te laten aanpassen en mijn adres op de voorkant te laten bijwerken. Ik vertrok met een gloednieuwe identiteitskaart, waarop nu mijn getrouwde naam op de achterkant staat. Na het indienen van nieuwe foto's was hun eerste reactie exact hetzelfde, woord voor woord, als hun eerste afwijzing! In deze afwijzing staat dat de foto onscherp is en vragen ze om een nieuwe selfie. Het is een standaardantwoord, wat de vraag oproept of ze de bijgevoegde bestanden überhaupt wel bekijken. De "selfie" heeft een resolutie van 3000x4000 pixels... er is absoluut geen probleem met de leesbaarheid.
Ik wil er even op wijzen dat geen enkel ander casino problemen heeft gehad met mijn identiteitsbewijs. Dit is het enige casino dat bezwaar maakte tegen mijn meisjesnaam op de achterkant. Dat identiteitsbewijs was en is nog steeds een 100% authentiek en officieel door de overheid uitgegeven identiteitsbewijs. Ik heb desondanks de moeite genomen om mijn identiteitsbewijs te laten aanpassen en heb dit nieuwe identiteitsbewijs getoond, waarmee hun "probleem" is opgelost.
Ik heb mijn excuses aangeboden toen ik mijn eerdere klacht introk, omdat ik vond dat hun klacht niet helemaal onredelijk was, hoewel niet gegrond. Aan de andere kant hebben zij zich niet verontschuldigd voor de beschuldiging dat ik fraude zou hebben gepleegd. Ze handelen niet te goeder trouw in hun verificatieproces.
