Hi Poker Players!
Using the timer in poker can have it's advantages. I know there is crucial moments where extra time is really needed.
But there are players who abuse the clock. I have had the nitemare of sitting at the table with a player once in a tourney who ran his time out on every single hand. Not his clock....that was already used up...but his intial time given.
I know when it comes time and we are on the bubble....the low stack will drag his clock to at least get a piece of the pie. I have done it myself...and if i have been with a player long enough at the table...i too have been known to drag my clock as well for the underdog to help him out!
Whats your thoughts on the clock...do you use it...if so in what cirumstances?

Het gebruik van de timer bij poker kan zijn voordelen hebben. Ik weet dat er cruciale momenten zijn waarop extra tijd echt nodig is.
Maar er zijn spelers die misbruik maken van de klok. Ik heb ooit tijdens een toernooi het voorval gehad om aan tafel te zitten met een speler die bij elke hand zijn time-out verspeelde. Niet zijn klok...die was al opgebruikt...maar zijn oorspronkelijke gegeven tijd.
Ik weet wanneer het tijd is en we in de bubble zitten....de lage stapel zal zijn klok verslepen om tenminste een stukje van de taart te pakken. Ik heb het zelf gedaan... en als ik lang genoeg met een speler aan tafel heb gezeten... staat het mij ook bekend dat ik mijn klok versleep om de underdog te helpen hem te helpen!
Wat vindt u van de klok? Gebruikt u hem? Zo ja, in welke omstandigheden?
