Burnley proved once again that they are are real force at Turf Moor, tough to beat them there for any team in the world. As for Leicester, they are going down fast, I guess Ranieri won't be there much longer.

Yes Johnny, I was impressed by Burnley too, want to see Sean Dyche in a better team because they really perform above their players class for years now, it was a decent result for Chelsea too, they could afford that draw.
Leicester should be really scared for their PL spot now after today's result, it looks like it would e a tough relegation battle for them till the end.
Ja Johnny, ik was ook onder de indruk van Burnley, wil Sean Dyche in een beter team zien omdat ze al jaren echt boven hun spelersklasse presteren, het was ook een behoorlijk resultaat voor Chelsea, ze konden zich dat gelijkspel veroorloven.
Leicester zou nu echt bang moeten zijn voor hun PL-plek na het resultaat van vandaag, het lijkt erop dat het tot het einde een zware degradatiestrijd voor hen zou worden.

Comfortable win for City in the end but I don't think Bournemouth are in their best shape at the moment, with such performance they will be involved in the relegation battle pretty soon.

United missed their chances in first 20mins of the game and after that they just weren't good enough to win it, Mings and Ibrahimovic should be both sent-off but instead it was another Bournemouth player who've been unlucky to see the red card, vital point for Bournemouth - psychologically, well done to them.
Huge wins for Leicester and Swansea and Palace and the bottom 3 looks more clear now with the 3 teams currently there looks to be the favourites to go down I think.

There wasn't really any problems for Chelsea against West Ham, quite comfortable win for them and if they keep that form there wouldn’t be any doubts who's gong to win the league, West Ham just looks to easy team to beat at home for the top sides this season.
Er waren niet echt problemen voor Chelsea tegen West Ham, een vrij comfortabele overwinning voor hen en als ze die vorm behouden, zou er geen enkele twijfel zijn wie de competitie gaat winnen. West Ham lijkt gewoon een te gemakkelijke ploeg om thuis te verslaan. de toppers dit seizoen.

I don't think City played so well even in the previous game and despite they get the result in Sunderland they've had quite good luck there, but tonight Stoke really shut them down with pretty disciplined performance in defence and the point was quite deserved for them I think, City just didn't created enough chances and it was because of the Stoke display.

It was a hard fought win for Liverpool, they didn't play particularly well but still manage to clinch it and it's all that counts at this stage of the season I guess, they looking good in the standings now.

Sorry to say but maybe it is about time for that to happened Johnny, Arsenal had...how many, maybe 20 straight CL appearances and I think they were lucky couple of times over the years to finish there, get past Spurs in the last week,s so every streak comes to an end and the way Arsenal playing, it won't be undeserved if they finish outside top 4.
Probably big changes in the club upcoming and maybe not only linked with the manager but perhaps with the squad too, whoever comes to replace Wenger would probably want some funds to strengthen the squad and it's very tough for me to imagine that he wouldn’t be willing to spend more than Wenger.. of course that depends from the board too but look what happen in United after SAF, Arsenal approach should be smarter.

Sorry om te zeggen, maar misschien wordt het tijd dat dat gebeurt. Johnny, Arsenal had... hoeveel, misschien twintig opeenvolgende CL-optredens en ik denk dat ze door de jaren heen een paar keer het geluk hadden om daar te eindigen, voorbij de Spurs te komen in de finale. Elke week komt er dus een einde aan elke reeks en gezien de manier waarop Arsenal speelt, zal het niet onverdiend zijn als ze buiten de top 4 eindigen.
Er komen waarschijnlijk grote veranderingen bij de club aan en die hebben misschien niet alleen te maken met de manager, maar misschien ook met de ploeg. Wie Wenger komt vervangen, zou waarschijnlijk wat geld nodig hebben om de ploeg te versterken en het is erg moeilijk voor mij om me voor te stellen dat hij dat niet zou zijn. bereid om meer uit te geven dan Wenger. Dat hangt natuurlijk ook van het bestuur af, maar kijk eens wat er bij United gebeurt na SAF, de aanpak van Arsenal zou slimmer moeten zijn.

Ik ben er 100% zeker van dat Wenger aan het einde van het seizoen weg zal zijn. De club is hem veel verschuldigd, maar het is tijd om er nu een einde aan te maken.

United won but again not convincingly, obviously there's life beyond Ibrahimovic (which I never doubt anyway) they are a lot faster and dangerous on counters without him, he usually wants the ball every-time United attacking and that just making them too one dimensional and predictable despite all his goals.
After 2-0 in around 60th minute Mourinho parked the bus without any reason (team played quite well before that) but with 8-9 defensive players on the field he invited Boro in their penalty area and home side almost made them pay for that, for sure a better side than Boro would do it.
Tottenham are now alone in second spot after Man City got held to a draw by Liverpool,
Tottenham 2 - 1 Southampton
Spurs have done it but in another day Southampton could it clinched something from that game, the second goal for Spurs came after Sutton had their best spell in the match and missed couple of good chances, the feeling at the HT was like Spurs leading 2-0 in an even game.
Manchester City 1 - 1 LiverpoolProbably shouldn't say that ... but it was really entertaining game ;).
I've had the feeling even first half the game would end with a draw, just both teams have had just about equal chances for goal and not marked penalties so it was probably a fair result in the end, probably should ended it up 3-3 though.
Middlesbrough 1-3 Manchester United
United heeft gewonnen, maar wederom niet overtuigend. Er is uiteraard nog leven buiten Ibrahimovic (waar ik toch nooit aan twijfel). Ze zijn een stuk sneller en gevaarlijker op counters zonder hem, hij wil meestal de bal elke keer dat United aanvalt en dat maakt ze gewoon te eendimensionaal en voorspelbaar ondanks al zijn doelpunten.
Na de 2-0 in de 60e minuut parkeerde Mourinho de bus zonder enige reden (daarvoor speelde het team redelijk goed), maar met 8-9 verdedigende spelers op het veld nodigde hij Boro uit in hun strafschopgebied en de thuisploeg liet ze daar bijna voor boeten. een betere kant dan Boro zou het zeker doen.
Tottenham staat nu alleen op de tweede plek nadat Man City op een gelijkspel werd gehouden door Liverpool.
Tottenham 2-1 Southampton
De Spurs hebben het gedaan, maar op een andere dag zou Southampton iets uit die wedstrijd kunnen halen. Het tweede doelpunt voor de Spurs kwam nadat Sutton hun beste periode in de wedstrijd had gehad en een paar goede kansen had gemist. Het gevoel bij de HT was alsof de Spurs met 2 voor stonden. 0 in een gelijkspel.
Manchester City 1-1 LiverpoolDat zou je waarschijnlijk niet moeten zeggen... maar het was echt een vermakelijk spel ;).
Ik had het gevoel dat zelfs de eerste helft van de wedstrijd met een gelijkspel zou eindigen, alleen hadden beide teams vrijwel gelijke kansen op een doelpunt en geen strafschoppen, dus het was waarschijnlijk een eerlijk resultaat op het einde, waarschijnlijk had het 3 moeten eindigen. 3 wel.

Yes it really looking to be going that direction Johnny, I'm not saying it would be a bad move but I can't understand all those fans with "Wenger Out" signs and banners on the games, yes they should be disappointed probably but that would it never happen in United with SAF for example and Arsene Wenger is the only one who's achievements could be compared to those of the Scotsman.
He would probably be replaced even without all that pressure.

Ja, het lijkt echt die kant op te gaan Johnny, ik zeg niet dat het een slechte zet zou zijn, maar ik kan al die fans met "Wenger Out"-borden en spandoeken op de games niet begrijpen, ja, ze zouden waarschijnlijk teleurgesteld moeten zijn, maar dat zou bij United bijvoorbeeld nooit gebeuren, met SAF en Arsène Wenger is de enige wiens prestaties te vergelijken zijn met die van de Schot.

Middlesbrough survived at Swansea but that might not be enough for them to survive in the Premier League. Arsenal fought back twice to get a draw against Man City, but after the last goal both teams seemed content with the result and stopped pushing.

Liverpool were impressive this week with that win over Everton and Chelsea loss could make it a bit more interesting... still it's up to Chelsea to loose it though.
A better performance from Arsenal but not again good enough I think, they needed a win to save any realistic top 4 chances, even before this week I thought Arsenal and MU to be the team to stay out of top 4 but now it looks almost inevitable for both teams.
Liverpool was deze week indrukwekkend met die overwinning op Everton en het verlies van Chelsea zou het een beetje interessanter kunnen maken. Het is echter aan Chelsea om het te verliezen.
Een betere prestatie van Arsenal, maar niet opnieuw goed genoeg denk ik, ze hadden een overwinning nodig om realistische top 4-kansen te redden, zelfs vóór deze week dacht ik dat Arsenal en MU het team zouden zijn dat uit de top 4 zou blijven, maar nu lijkt het bijna onvermijdelijk voor beide ploegen.

United couldn’t beat Everton tonight, in fact they were maybe lucky to get even a point from the game and missed another chance to put pressure on Man City who are sitting 4th at the moment. So the best chance for United playing the CL next season should be winning the UEFA League something which would surprise me with that level of performance although there isn't teams of their calibre there.
United kon Everton vanavond niet verslaan. Sterker nog, ze hadden misschien geluk dat ze zelfs maar een punt uit de wedstrijd haalden en misten nog een kans om druk uit te oefenen op Man City, dat momenteel op de vierde plaats staat. Dus de beste kans voor United om volgend seizoen in de CL te spelen zou het winnen van de UEFA League moeten zijn, iets wat mij zou verbazen met dat prestatieniveau, ook al zijn daar geen teams van hun kaliber.
