The machine banger is the player who pounds or slaps the spin button with such force that it vibrates the whole machine. The other players can usually hear the “slapping” sound three rows away. It’s almost as if they think the spin button is activated by sound and the louder they slap the more the credits the machine will pay. If they are playing an older machine that still has a handle to pull they can really make some noise. They will yank the handle down with enough force to lift them out of their seats and then let it snap back into place. You can only hope that soon bruises to the hand or total fatigue will force this player to go away.
De machinebanger is de speler die met zoveel kracht op de draaiknop slaat of slaat dat de hele machine gaat trillen. De andere spelers kunnen het ‘klappende’ geluid meestal drie rijen verderop horen. Het is bijna alsof ze denken dat de draaiknop wordt geactiveerd door geluid en hoe harder ze slaan, hoe meer credits de machine zal uitbetalen. Als ze op een oudere machine spelen die nog steeds een hendel heeft om aan te trekken, kunnen ze echt wat lawaai maken. Ze trekken de hendel met voldoende kracht naar beneden om ze uit hun stoel te tillen en laten hem vervolgens weer op zijn plaats klikken. Je kunt alleen maar hopen dat blauwe plekken aan de hand of totale vermoeidheid deze speler binnenkort zullen dwingen weg te gaan.

Hi Gang:
I saw this again this morning when I was at the casino, but just a little differently. Instead of slapping the buttons, this guy slapped the SCREEN. Slap Slap Slap. Sounded just like it would if you took your open hand and slapped it on the table. Also, to add to the picture of this, everytime he would slap the screen he would yell "C'mon."
It actually shook the machine.
Do we have any Screen slappers out there?

Dit zag ik vanochtend weer toen ik in het casino was, maar dan net even anders. In plaats van op de knoppen te slaan, sloeg deze man op het SCHERM. Klap Klap Klap. Het klonk precies zoals het zou klinken als je je open hand pakte en ermee op tafel sloeg. En om het beeld hiervan nog groter te maken: elke keer dat hij op het scherm sloeg, riep hij "Kom op."
Het schudde de machine eigenlijk.
Hebben we daar Screen slappers?
